Bleeding gums, sensitivity and that dull ache you've been ignoring — here's when to book.
Most dental problems are painless in their early stages, which is exactly why regular check-ups matter. Still, your mouth does send signals worth listening to.
1–3: Gums that bleed, recede or swell
Bleeding when you brush is not normal — it's the most common sign of gingivitis, which is completely reversible when caught early.
4–5: Sensitivity and lingering pain
Short twinges with cold drinks can mean worn enamel or exposed roots. Pain that lingers after the cold is gone may indicate the nerve is irritated.
6–7: Bad breath and loose teeth
Persistent bad breath and teeth that feel loose are signs of advanced gum disease and need prompt attention.
